As part of one of their segments, 'Back up Plan,' Jono and Ben recently visited our team at SKYCITY Hotel to see how they would fare in a hotels career.
The comedy duo were put through their paces by our team members, trying their hand at room service, housekeeping and concierge.
Both Fiona Ruane, Executive Chef - Main Kitchen, and Jessica Lepcha, Demi Chef - 24/7 Staff Restaurant, are huge fans of the show and stuck around after their shifts to be a part of the segment.
"It was an amazing experience watching them talk live in front of my eyes for a change, rather than on TV. They were funny and humble and gave us a very fun morning filled with good energy and enthusiasm," says Jessica.

Nketa Misipeka-Kerr, one of our 24/7 Waiters says: "When I told my parents I got the opportunity to be on the Jono and Ben show my Dad was so excited! I was nervous to do it at first, I thought my mind would go totally blank because of the cameras, but the trick was to pretend they weren't there. Jono and Ben were shocking at doing the job - they wouldn't have lasted very long in employment here at SKYCITY!"
