Jamie Walker, Group Learning and Development Manager

Congratulations to Jamie Walker, Group Learning and Development Manager at SKYCITY, for being selected as a finalist for the 2018 HRINZ HR Specialist of the Year award.

Jamie has specialised in learning and development for 15 years in a career ranging from a small not-for-profit to some of the largest single-site employers in New Zealand and Australia. Jamie has led teams to nine learning and development awards in the past five years. He is registered as an expert in vocational pathways to higher education with the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Authority. As Group Learning and Development Manager, he leads the delivery of high quality development initiatives to grow the skills, knowledge and capability of over 6,600 people employed by the SKYCITY Entertainment Group.
