Last week our SkyCity whānau celebrated Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori via 5 days of online sessions across Aotearoa.
Our Māori group Te Roopū Māori o SkyCity, engaged staff with learning some basic Te Reo Māori for everyday life, learned how to do a mihi, karakia and ended the week with a fun Māori quiz!
We had special guests Dr Hinemoa Elder and Taane Mete speak to us, participated in the Māori Language Moment and lit our Sky Tower all week long in recognition of the week.
